Parenting support

Parenting is one of the most meaningful things a person does, and one of the hardest. Parenting support gives you a place to step back, talk honestly about what is difficult, and work out an approach that fits your child and your family.

We support parents of children of every age, from toddlers to teenagers to adult children. You can come on your own, with a partner, or with a co-parent you no longer live with.

What parents often bring

Feeling guilty, stretched thin or short-tempered. Struggling to set boundaries, or setting them and seeing them ignored. Constant battles over screens, studies, food or bedtime. Sibling rivalry. A child who has gone quiet or become angry. Disagreeing with a partner, or with grandparents, about how to raise the children. Co-parenting after a separation. And for parents of adult children, learning how to stay close while letting go.

How it works

Parenting support sessions are usually with the parents rather than the child. We begin by understanding your family: who is in it, what a typical day looks like, what is working and what is not. We also make room for you, because how you are doing has a large effect on how the household feels.

From there we work on what matters most to you. That might be understanding what your child is trying to communicate through their behaviour, finding calmer ways to handle conflict, agreeing on consistent rules with your partner, or simply getting through a demanding phase with more patience for yourself.

We do not hand out a single right way to parent. Every child and every family is different. Our aim is to help you trust your own judgement and respond to your child with more confidence.

When parents disagree

Many couples find they were raised very differently and bring those differences into how they parent. In families where grandparents are closely involved, there may be three or more views in the same house. We can help you talk these differences through and find a shared approach your children can rely on.

In person or online

You can meet us at our studio in Nerul, Navi Mumbai, or by private video. Online sessions are often easier for parents with young children at home, and allow two parents in different places to join the same session.

Getting started

Send us a message or call to tell us a little about your family and what feels hardest right now. If it seems that your child or the whole family would benefit from sessions of their own, we will talk that through with you.
